This performance was definitely an experience. My dance partners and I were asked to perform only about a week prior to the actual performance thus we were extremely nervous and weren't too sure what we were going to do. Due to the lack of time, we decided to do a dance choreography we had done in the past. I can still vividly remember the day of the performance as I unfortunately got sick the day before and was still not recovered. But, I was already at the place and there was no way I was going to let my friends or my teachers down, so I went through with it because the show must go on, right? Luckily, I felt way better an hour before the performance and I'd say it turned out pretty good! It felt a little odd considering we were the only dancers at this event but I definitely think we spiced up the event a little. Working with my friends on this in such a small amount of time challenged me to become an even more efficient learner and allowed to me grow as a dancer and a performer.
