On March 31st, 2019, my friends and I went to The Hub Saidek to teach English to students who didn't have the chance to learn English. We went in with the idea that we'd be teaching little children, however as we entered we realized we were actually teaching people older than us! It was a shock, and we weren't sure if things would go as smoothly. We decided to go with the flow and taught them how to have a simple conversation in English as well as going through the alphabets again. It was an amazing opportunity and a really interesting day. Their energy was amazing and all of them were so focused and were trying their best which made me extremely happy. Getting to teach others made me realize how fortunate I am to be able to go to an international school and be fluent in English. I felt extremely grateful to be able to have an opportunity to teach others, and seeing their improvement in English made me feel really content.
